The Laredo Lemurs (33-38) and the Grand Prairie AirHogs (41-31) traded the lead four times on Friday, but the Laredo Lemurs ended up on top with a 6-5 win over the Grand Prairie AirHogs.

The Laredo Lemurs finally managed to grab the lead after a strong eighth inning. Scored Philip Incaviglia and John Allen and gave the Laredo Lemurs the lead for good.

The Laredo Lemurs held off the Grand Prairie AirHogs, as the Grand Prairie AirHogs were unable to overcome a three-run eighth inning deficit.

The Grand Prairie AirHogs scored two runs in the eighth on a two-run home run by Brian Myrow. Despite their efforts, the Grand Prairie AirHogs couldn't get over the hump.

Uriak Marquez racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Laredo Lemurs. He singled in the seventh inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Matt Way allowed two earned runs, four hits and one walk while striking out four over 5 2/3 innings of work.

Bradley Blanks got the win, running his season record to 3-1. He allowed one run over 1 1/3 innings. Blanks struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Adam Miller was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
