The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (45-25) continued to pile up the runs on Wednesday, scoring five runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 14-2 win over the St Paul Saints (38-31) at Midway Stadium.
The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks scored six runs in the third on a solo home run by Nic Jackson, a two-run home run by Jackson, an RBI single by Ryan Delgado, an RBI single by Todd Jennings, a fielder's choice, and a single by Zach Penprase.
Eric Campbell racked up four RBIs on five hits for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. He doubled in the fourth inning, homered in the ninth inning, and singled in the first, third, and ninth innings.
Paul Burnside picked up the win for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. Burnside pitched nine innings and allowed one earned run, seven hits and two walks while striking out seven.
Todd Mathison ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked two and struck out two.
