The Wichita Wingnuts (42-29) beat the Laredo Lemurs (32-37) 8-3 on Sunday at Uni-Trade Stadium behind Ryan Khoury, who went 2-3.
He singled in the first and eighth innings.Derek Blacksher picked up the win for the Wichita Wingnuts. Blacksher allowed three earned runs, five hits and three walks while striking out one over eight innings of work.
Stephen Douglas racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Laredo Lemurs. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
Matt Way (7-5) took the loss for the Laredo Lemurs. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked six and struck out five.
