After four lead changes in Thursday's game at Yogi Berra Stadium, the Gary SouthShore RailCats (26-33) finally pulled out a 8-3 win over the New Jersey Jackals.

Mike Massaro racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Gary SouthShore RailCats. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Will Krout picked up the win for the Gary SouthShore RailCats. Krout pitched 7 2/3 innings and allowed one earned run, nine hits and no walks while striking out six.

Bryan Sabatella racked up two RBIs on two hits for the New Jersey Jackals. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Kyle Greenwalt was charged with the loss. He lasted just eight innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
