The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (33-21) and the Grand Prairie AirHogs (37-18) traded the lead five times on Sunday, but the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks ended up on top with a 6-3 win over the Grand Prairie AirHogs.
It was a good day at the plate for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks' Buddy Sosnoskie. Sosnoskie went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He tripled in the fifth innings and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.
The Grand Prairie AirHogs' lineup had no answer for Kevin Fuqua. Fuqua held the Grand Prairie AirHogs hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Andres Rodriguez racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.
Alex Caldera recorded his seventh win of the year for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Caldera struck out two, walked one and gave up nine hits.
John Brownell (7-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
