Thomas Palica handled the Gary SouthShore RailCats' lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Palica allowed two earned runs, eight hits and one walk over seven innings.
David Cooper was hot from the plate for the Gary SouthShore RailCats. Cooper went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings and doubled in the ninth inning.
Brandon Cooney improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Lincoln Saltdogs. Cooney struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.
David Quinowski (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
