Matt Way hopes every outing could go as well as Sunday, as Way threw a shutout to carry the Laredo Lemurs (21-26) to a 5-0 victory over the Grand Prairie AirHogs (35-14) at Uni-Trade Stadium.

The Laredo Lemurs' Way kept the Grand Prairie AirHogs off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on six hits while ringing up six.

Palmer Karr Jr. racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Laredo Lemurs. He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Ramon Garcia (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
