The El Paso Diablos (11-28) took down the Sioux City Explorers (18-24) 10-1 on Friday at Lewis _ Clark Park after slamming the Sioux City Explorers with six runs in the fifth inning.

Mitch Einertson racked up four RBIs on one hit for the El Paso Diablos. He homered in the fifth inning.

Scott Hodsdon picked up the win for the El Paso Diablos. Hodsdon pitched nine innings and allowed one earned run, seven hits and three walks while striking out six.

Richard Salazar (3-6) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked none and struck out one.
