The Wichita Wingnuts (27-8) outlasted the Sioux City Explorers (17-20) on Saturday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 5-2 win at Lewis _ Clark Park.

CJ Ziegler racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Wichita Wingnuts. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

The Wichita Wingnuts relied on Ryan Hinson to eat up innings en route to the win. Hinson allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out three over eight innings of work.

Richard Salazar (3-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
