The Kansas City T-Bones (18-17) shut the door early on the Amarillo Sox (19-16), capturing a 16-4 victory on Saturday at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

The game was decided quickly as the Kansas City T-Bones exerted their will early with 11 runs in the first three innings.

A three-run home run by Ray Sadler and an RBI single by Jose O. Duran during the first inning and a three-run double by Trevor Coleman, an RBI single by O. Duran, an RBI single by Devin Goodwin, and a two-run single by Justin C. Bass in the second inning helped the Kansas City T-Bones put some runs on the board early.

Coleman racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Kansas City T-Bones.

Jake Opitz racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Amarillo Sox. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the sixth inning.

Shaun Garceau improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Kansas City T-Bones. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Garceau struck out five, walked three and gave up six hits.

Derek Christensen was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.

The Kansas City T-Bones hammered the Amarillo Sox pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 15 hits, 14 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
