Jake Opitz racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Amarillo Sox. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the sixth inning.
Shaun Garceau improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Kansas City T-Bones. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Garceau struck out five, walked three and gave up six hits.
Derek Christensen was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
