Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Thursday as the Sioux City (8-12) outscored the Wichita (15-5) 13-8.

The two teams combined for 29 hits in the game.

Yusuke Inoguchi reached base five times. He singled in the second, sixth, and seventh innings.

John Rodriguez racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Wichita. He singled in the first and fifth innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

Nick Schumacher improved to 4-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Sioux City. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Schumacher struck out two, walked none and gave up six hits.

Derek Blacksher (2-1) took the loss for the Wichita. He allowed 12 runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out five.
