Delgado gives the Fargo-Moorhead late push to beat the Kansas City, 8-6

Ryan Delgado drove in the go-ahead run to give the Fargo-Moorhead (8-10) the lead in the eighth inning, as the Fargo-Moorhead hung on to beat the Kansas City (9-9) 8-6 on Tuesday.

With the score tied at four in the eighth inning, Delgado came to the plate and singled, bringing home Nic Jackson.

The Fargo-Moorhead staved off the Kansas City as the Kansas City were unable to match the Fargo-Moorhead down the stretch.

The Kansas City scored two runs in the ninth on an RBI double by Trevor Coleman and an RBI single by Devin Goodwin. Still, the Kansas City couldn't draw even.

Jackson reached base three times in the game for the Fargo-Moorhead. He singled in the third and eighth innings.

Dan Morari improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Fargo-Moorhead. He allowed two runs over two innings. Morari struck out two, walked one and gave up one hit.

Steve Kent couldn't get it done on the bump for the Kansas City, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
