The Kansas City make the most of 8 hits in 9-4 victory over the El Paso

The Kansas City (6-5) and the El Paso (2-9) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Kansas City that eventually took advantage of them in a 9-4 win at Cohen Stadium.

Sean Henry racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Kansas City . He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Josh Rainwater picked up the win for the Kansas City . Rainwater pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out three.

Bryan Frichter paced the El Paso at the plate. Frichter went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the first, sixth, and eighth innings.

Colin Allen couldn't get it done on the mound for the El Paso , taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

The Kansas City jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second. Kala Kaaihue started the rally for the Kansas City with a single.

The game was never in doubt after the fourth, as the Kansas City scored one run on a passed ball.

The Kansas City increased their lead with two runs in the fifth. A ground out scored Reid Fronk to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Henry's single, scoring Jose O. Duran.

The Kansas City tacked on four runs on two hits in the top of the seventh, highlighted by Henry's three-run blast, which scored O. Duran and Gus Milner.
