Kahaulelio stars as the Wichita defeat the New Jersey, 18-5

Wednesday was a great day for Jake Kahaulelio, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Wichita (13-4) to an 18-5 victory over the New Jersey at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.

Kahaulelio racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Wichita. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third and sixth innings.

Thirteen runs in the first three innings helped the Wichita blow out the New Jersey. An RBI single by Kahaulelio, an RBI double by John Rodriguez, and a two-run double by CJ Ziegler during the first inning and a groundout by Rodriguez in the second inning helped the Wichita put some runs on the board early.

Ryan Hinson racked up eight strikeouts in the the Wichita win. Hinson allowed one earned run on four hits and no walks over six innings.

Steve Caseres racked up three RBIs on two hits for the New Jersey. He singled in the seventh and ninth innings.

Matt Chico was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 13 runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out two.
