Thursday was a great day for Sean Trent, as he hit two home runs to carry the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs (25-15) to a 7-3 victory over the Orlando Monarchs (19-21) at Tinker Field.

The Orlando Monarchs had no answer for Anthony Figliolia, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Figliolia held the Orlando Monarchs hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Evan Incinelli recorded his fifth win of the year for the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Abdel Rivera (1-1) took the loss for the Orlando Monarchs. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.

Ted Blackman, Trent and Tyler Rocklein helped lead the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs. They combined for six hits and five RBIs.
