The Fresno Cardinals (14-2) continued to pile up the runs on Sunday, scoring four runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 13-3 win over the Sacramento Scorch (5-10) at John Euless Ballpark.

The Fresno Cardinals scored five runs in the sixth on , an RBI single by Travis Beck, a two-run double by Joseph Olson, and a single by Brett Jones.

Galen Duff racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Fresno Cardinals. He homered in the second inning.

Jake Bews was solid at the plate for the Sacramento Scorch. Bews went 3-5 and drove in one. He singled in the second, fourth, and eighth innings.

Ryan Ahrens got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed three runs over nine innings. He struck out four, walked five and surrendered 10 hits.

Cody Frank was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in six innings, walked three and struck out three.
