The Winter Park Diamond Dawgs (19-14) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Sanford River Rats (16-18), recording a 13-6 victory on Saturday at Alfond Stadium.

An RBI double by Sean Trent and an RBI single by Michael Basil during the first inning and a hit by pitch, an RBI single by Michael Danner, a two-run single by Trent, a double by Tyler Rocklein, and a groundout by Zach Persky in the second inning helped the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs put some runs on the board early.Rocklein boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 4-4 day at the plate to pace the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs.
Daniel Seeba racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Sanford River Rats. He singled in the fourth and seventh innings and homered in the ninth inning.
