The Sanford River Rats (17-21) continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 14-5 win over the Orlando Freedom (9-28) at Historic Sanford Memorial Stadi.

The Sanford River Rats scored five runs in the fourth on a hit by pitch, a two-run single by Lee Howard, and an error.

The Sanford River Rats' Ryan Woodrey was perfect at the dish, going 4-4. He singled in the first, third, fourth, and fifth innings.

Nicholas Gonzalez's eight strikeouts helped the Sanford River Rats to the victory. Gonzalez allowed two earned runs on three hits and one walk over five innings.

TJ Hoelzer racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Orlando Freedom. He singled in the fifth inning.

Joseph Lepore couldn't get it done on the bump for the Orlando Freedom, taking a loss. He allowed 10 runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.

The Sanford River Rats easily handled the Orlando Freedom pitching as six hitters combined for 15 hits, seven RBIs and nine runs scored.
