An excellent effort by Evan Incinelli led the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs (16-8) to a 12-1 win in seven innings over the Sanford River Rats (9-16) on Wednesday at Alfond Stadium.

Incinelli's 10 strikeouts helped the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs to the victory. The Winter Park Diamond Dawgs' pitcher tossed six innings of shutout ball and allowed only two hits.

The Winter Park Diamond Dawgs didn't let up, as they kept racking up runs until the end. The Winter Park Diamond Dawgs scored three runs in the last one innings to finish off the blowout win. The Winter Park Diamond Dawgs scored four runs in the first on a solo home run by Michael Danner, a two-run single by Michael Basil, and an RBI double by Jarred Smith.

Joseph Adel (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out one.

The Winter Park Diamond Dawgs' Tyler Rocklein, Danner, Daniel Sweet and AC Carter combined for six hits and five RBIs.
