The Nevada Big Horns hang on against the San Francisco Seagulls, 3-2

The San Francisco Seagulls (18-16) weren't able to come back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the Nevada Big Horns (4-20), and the San Francisco Seagulls lost 3-2 to the Nevada Big Horns after falling behind by three runs in the fourth inning.

The San Francisco Seagulls scored on an RBI single by Cody Silveria in the sixth inning and a groundout by Dominic Ferrando in the eighth inning. Despite their efforts, the San Francisco Seagulls couldn't get over the hump.

Kyle Dodge did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Nevada Big Horns, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

The Nevada Big Horns relied on Sean Sweeney to eat up innings en route to the win. Sweeney allowed one earned run, six hits and three walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Ethan Peper couldn't get it done on the mound for the San Francisco Seagulls, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
