The bats were busy at Fairmont Field on Saturday, and when the dust cleared the San Francisco Seagulls (16-11) had a 15-9 win over the Fresno Cardinals (16-4).

The two teams combined for 24 hits in the game.

The San Francisco Seagulls left no doubt in the outcome with five runs in the seventh.

Eren Miravalles pushed the San Francisco Seagulls ahead, in the seventh inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. After Anthony Clifford, Miravalles came to the plate with the score tied at seven, and hit into a fielder's choice, bringing home Clifford.

Miravalles had a hot bat for the San Francisco Seagulls. Miravalles went 2-5, drove in one and scored four runs. He singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Roger Fonseca racked up five RBIs on four hits for the San Francisco Seagulls. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the second, seventh, and eighth innings.

Kaimi Haina got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over one inning. Haina struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.

Tanner Irwin ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
