A walk-off double from Angelo Amendolare brought home the winning run for the DeLand Suns (20-13) in a 17-16 victory over the Orlando Freedom (6-25) in 12 innings at Conrad Park at Stetson Universi on Friday.
Amendolare racked up three RBIs on three hits for the DeLand Suns. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the twelfth inning.
Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 33 runs and 33 hits, including zero extra base hits. There were 11 pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.
