A walk-off single from Ryan Woodrey brought home the winning run for the Sanford River Rats (15-18) in an 8-7 victory over the Orlando Monarchs (14-16) at Historic Sanford Memorial Stadi on Friday.
Woodrey did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Sanford River Rats, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the ninth inning.
