A six-run explosion in the second inning spurred the California Glory (17-10) to an 11-1 win in seven innings over the San Francisco Seagulls (16-11) at Fairmont Field on Sunday.

Josh Grijalva racked up two RBIs on two hits for the California Glory. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Anthony Caringi picked up the win for the California Glory. Caringi allowed one earned run, six hits and no walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Sam Alton was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out two.
