Michael Danner had two extra-base hits for the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs. He tripled in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and homered in the seventh inning.
Brett Nizamoff improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs. He allowed one run over 2 2/3 innings. Nizamoff struck out two, walked two and gave up one hit.
Carlton Patton (1-1) took the loss for the Leesburg Lightning. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
