Patrick Grady went 3-3 at the plate, helping the Orlando Freedom (6-24) to a 7-2 victory over the DeLand Suns (20-12) on Sunday at Orel Hershiser Field.
He singled in the second, fourth, and eighth innings.Brian Johnson's five strikeouts helped the Orlando Freedom to the victory. Johnson allowed two earned runs on four hits and no walks over six innings.
Erik Lunde paced the DeLand Suns at the plate. Lunde went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning.
Austin Jackson was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked two and struck out none.
