David Lee went 4-4 at the plate, sparking the Orlando Monarchs (3-3) to a 6-1 victory over the Orlando Freedom (3-4) on Friday at Tinker Field.

Drew Gay picked up the win for the Orlando Monarchs. Gay pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out four.

It was a good day at the plate for the Orlando Freedom's Robert Buckley. Buckley went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

Nick Neitzel looked sharp on the mound. The Orlando Monarchs managed just one hit off of Neitzel, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out four during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Josh Strong (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out five.
