Drew Jackson held the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs (4-4) scoreless for seven innings to boost the DeLand Suns (4-2) to a 2-0 victory.

Jackson allowed three hits, two walks and struck out four.

Kevin Lindheim helped the DeLand Suns take the lead for good in the sixth inning. After Brandon Curson reached on an error, Lindheim singled, scoring Curson.

The DeLand Suns were led by Corey Keller's hitting. Keller went 3-4. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

Aaron Adams was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
