Grant McCoury went 1-2 and hit a home run as the Top Speed Baseball (25-20) took home a 5-2 victory over the Fresno Cardinals (22-11) in seven innings at College of Alameda on Friday.

Kyer Vega's six strikeouts helped the Top Speed Baseball to the victory. Vega allowed no earned runs on four hits and two walks over five innings.

Jesse Gonzales reached base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the seventh inning.

Eian Raeber ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
