The USSSA Pride (8-8) didn't put up much of a fight on Thursday, as the Chicago Bandits (13-3) cruised to a blowout 8-2 win at Rosemont Stadium.

The Chicago Bandits scored four runs in the sixth on an RBI double by Megan Wiggins, an RBI single by Alisa Goler, a sacrifice fly by Danielle Zymkowitz, and a groundout by Nikki Nemitz.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the third, with five lead changes.

Kristen Butler got on base three times in the game for the Chicago Bandits. She scored one run and had one RBI. She homered in the third inning.

Nemitz picked up the win for the Chicago Bandits. Nemitz pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out four.

Danielle Lawrie (3-1) was the game's losing pitcher. She allowed eight runs in five innings, walked two and struck out three.
