Weston Walker racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Herndon Braves. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Tommy Cunningham did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning.

Mike Kaufman improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Herndon Braves. He allowed four runs over four innings. Kaufman struck out eight, walked two and gave up six hits.

Joel Rosencrance ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
