The Bethesda Big Train (25-16) outlasted the Baltimore Redbirds (28-13) on Wednesday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 4-3 win at Calvert Hall HS.

Hunter Renfroe racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Bethesda Big Train. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

The Baltimore Redbirds couldn't get anything going so long as Ethan Miller was on the hill. The Baltimore Redbirds managed just one hit off of Miller, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Hugh Adams got the win, running his season record to 4-2. Adams struck out three, walked none and gave up two hits.

Joe Harvey ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed one run.
