The Rockville Express (30-11) and the Youses Orioles (20-20) passed the lead back and forth five times on Monday at Bachman Park, but in the end the Rockville Express pulled out a 6-4 win over the Youses Orioles.

The Rockville Express finally managed to grab the lead after a strong sixth inning. An error scored Peter Bowles to give the Rockville Express the lead for good.

Bowles reached base three times in the game for the Rockville Express. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the sixth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

The Youses Orioles couldn't get anything going as long as Nick Riley was on the mound. Riley gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Dominic Fratantuono had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the fifth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Nic Nowottnick improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Rockville Express. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Kevin Mooney couldn't get it done on the mound for the Youses Orioles, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out nine, and allowed five runs.
