The Alexandria Aces (20-21) and the Bethesda Big Train (25-16) both had scoring chances on Monday, but it was the Alexandria Aces that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-3 win at Shirley Povich Field.
Adam Forrer racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Alexandria Aces. He doubled in the first inning, tripled in the fourth inning, and singled in the sixth inning.
Ronnie Glenn racked up eight strikeouts in the the Alexandria Aces win. Glenn allowed two earned runs on six hits and four walks over seven innings.
Brennan Middleton had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
