Johnny Cole drove in the go-ahead run to give the Rockville Express (30-11) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Rockville Express hung on to beat the Youses Orioles (20-20) 3-2 on Friday.

After Ryne Willard was hit by a pitch, Cole came to the plate with two outs in the sixth and doubled, plating Willard and Will Kengor.

Nic Nowottnick got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked seven and surrendered one hit.

Keith Fritz ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed one run.
