Avondre Bollar went 1-2, sparking the Bethesda Big Train (20-13) to a 9-4 victory over the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (9-23) on Monday at Blair Stadium.

The Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts couldn't get anything going so long as Ryan Doran was on the hill. Doran gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his four innings of work.

Chris Thompson hit two home runs for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts. Thompson went 2-4 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Thompson homered in the first and third innings.

Bo Logan got the win, running his season record to 5-0. He allowed four runs over five innings. Logan struck out three, walked two and gave up four hits.

Sam Kmiec ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked five and struck out four.
