A bright spot for the Southern Maryland Nationals in the defeat was Collin Fishman, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.
Steven Schuler improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Alexandria Aces. Schuler struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.
