The D.C. Grays (10-13) were unable to fight back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the Baltimore Redbirds (15-8), and the D.C. Grays lost 3-2 to the Baltimore Redbirds after falling behind by three runs in the second inning.

The D.C. Grays scored on a groundout by Mike Genovese in the sixth inning and an error in the seventh inning. Despite their efforts, the D.C. Grays couldn't get over the hump.

Sean Keselica put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Baltimore Redbirds. He doubled in the second and eighth innings.

Corey Taylor picked up the win for the Baltimore Redbirds. Taylor allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings of work.

Joe Donino (1-3) took the loss for the D.C. Grays. He lasted just 7 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out six, and allowed three runs.
