Peter Bowles drove in the go-ahead run to give the Rockville Express (13-8) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Rockville Express hung on to beat the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (8-14) 8-6 on Wednesday.

Johnny Cole to start the seventh. He then went from first to second on an RBI single by Ryne Willard. Finally, Bowles came to the plate with the score tied at six in the seventh inning, and singled, plating Cole and Willard.

Willard racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Rockville Express. He singled in the second, fifth, and seventh innings.

The Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts couldn't get anything going as long as Nick Keener was on the mound. Keener held the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
