The Baltimore Redbirds (24-10) blew out the Alexandria Aces (16-17) 11-1 on Saturday at Calvert Hall HS after pouring on six runs in the fifth inning.

Blake Crohan racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Baltimore Redbirds. He doubled in the fourth and fifth innings.

Curtis McCombs pitched lights out for the Baltimore Redbirds. The Alexandria Aces managed just three hits off of McCombs, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Greg Speiss couldn't get it done on the hill for the Alexandria Aces, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
