Blake Overmiller went 2-4, helping the D.C. Grays (8-9) to an 8-3 victory over the Rockville Express (12-4) on Thursday at Montgomery College.

The Rockville Express couldn't get anything going as long as Joel Castillo was on the mound. Castillo gave up just one hit, allowed one earned run, walked five and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Norm Donkin reached base three times. He singled in the fifth inning and tripled in the ninth inning.

Nick Nowottnick was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.
