The Camden Riversharks (61-75) had a tough outing on Thursday, as the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (67-70) dominated in an 8-2 win at Campbells Field.

The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs scored three runs in the seventh on an RBI single by Cesar Nicolas, a two-run double by Kevin Rios, and a two-run double by Rios.

Nicolas was solid at the plate for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. Nicolas went 4-5, drove in one and scored three runs.

Matthew Vasquez picked up the win for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. Vasquez allowed one earned run, eight hits and one walk while striking out seven over nine innings of work.

Josh Walter (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked five, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
