Paul Oseguera hopes every outing could go as well as Wednesday, as Oseguera threw a shutout to carry the Bridgeport Bluefish (65-70) to a 2-0 victory over the Lancaster Barnstormers (86-50) at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard in seven innings.

The Bridgeport Bluefish's Oseguera kept the Lancaster Barnstormers off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out nine.

John Halama couldn't get it done on the mound for the Lancaster Barnstormers, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
