The Camden Riversharks (56-62) weren't able to come back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the Sugar Land Skeeters (54-66), and the Camden Riversharks lost 8-6 to the Sugar Land Skeeters after falling behind by eight runs in the fifth inning.

The Camden Riversharks scored on a two-run double by Lloyd Turner in the seventh inning and , an RBI single by Alvin Colina, a hit by pitch, , and a single by Reid Gorecki in the ninth inning. Unfortunately, the Camden Riversharks weren't able to take the lead back.

Dionys Cesar was hot from the plate for the Sugar Land Skeeters. Cesar went 4-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second, third, fourth, and eighth innings.

Jason Lane's six strikeouts helped the Sugar Land Skeeters to the victory. Lane allowed two earned runs, four hits and one walk over seven innings.

Turner racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Camden Riversharks.

Bryan Corey couldn't get it done on the hill for the Camden Riversharks, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked one and struck out four.
