Paul Oseguera pitched eight shutout innings to lift the Bridgeport Bluefish (51-58) to a 3-2 win over the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at Harbor Yard.

The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs scored two runs in the ninth on a two-run home run by Jesse Gutierrez. Still, the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs couldn't draw even.

Gabriel Hernandez (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
