A walk-off single from Eddie Rogers brought home the winning run for the Bridgeport Bluefish (50-55) in a 5-4 victory over the Somerset Patriots in 13 innings at Harbor Yard on Sunday.
Rogers reached base three times in the game for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the ninth and thirteenth innings.
Juan Rincon looked sharp on the mound. Rincon held the Somerset Patriots (53-55) hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four.
Dan Serafini recorded his fifth win of the year for the Bridgeport Bluefish. Serafini struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.
