Josh Pressley hit two home runs, but it wasn't enough to carry the Sugar Land Skeeters (45-59) to a win on Thursday, as the Sugar Land Skeeters fell to the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (49-54) 9-4 at Regency Furniture Stadium.

Christian Lopez racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. He homered in the third inning and tripled in the eighth inning.

Daryl Thompson recorded his first win of the year for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. He allowed four runs over six innings. Thompson struck out four, walked one and gave up six hits.

Jeff Farnsworth ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked one and struck out six.
