Eduardo Perez hit two home runs to carry the Camden Riversharks (43-42) to a 7-5 win over the Sugar Land Skeeters (38-49) at Constellation Field, Sugar Land.

The Camden Riversharks staved off the Sugar Land Skeeters as the Sugar Land Skeeters were unable to match the Camden Riversharks down the stretch.

The Sugar Land Skeeters scored on a two-run home run by Iggy Suarez in the fourth inning, an RBI single by Octavio Martinez in the seventh inning, and a double by Matt Hagen in the ninth inning. Despite their efforts, the Sugar Land Skeeters couldn't finish the comeback.

Hagen put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Sugar Land Skeeters.

Keith Weiser got the win, running his season record to 5-5. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered six hits.

Heath Phillips (1-7) took the loss for the Sugar Land Skeeters. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

The Camden Riversharks' Jake Eigsti, Perez, Pedro Feliz and Chris Walker combined for eight hits and seven RBIs.
