Casey Benjamin hit two home runs to carry the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (38-44) to a 14-1 win over the Long Island Ducks (43-39) at Bethpage Ballpark.

The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs relied on Matthew Vasquez to eat up innings en route to the win. Vasquez allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out one over seven innings of work.

Matt Lyons couldn't get it done on the bump for the Long Island Ducks, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in one-third of an inning, walked two and struck out one.

The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs' Mike Daniel, Jeremy Owens, Brian Barton and Benjamin combined for eight hits and 11 RBIs.
