The Adirondack (20-14) beat the Utica (19-16) 9-6 on Friday at Donovan Stadium behind Stewart Knight, who collected three hits.
He singled in the fourth, sixth, and ninth innings.The Utica were led by Matt Bahnick's hitting. Bahnick went 3-5 and scored two runs. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and seventh innings.
Jabin Weaver recorded his second win for the Adirondack even though he allowed five runs over six innings. Weaver struck out two, walked four and gave up nine hits.
Miguel Navarro was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked four and struck out six.
